Beth Alden is an award winning designer of exquisite hand-crafted couture millinery. She graduated from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design in 1988. Since then she has developed her extensive fashion expertise on 7th Avenue, in high end department stores like Neiman Marcus and Nordstroms, in various theatrical venues, and in New York, where she currently resides.
Beth was honored in 2005 by the Headwear Information Bureau, when it awarded her with their Milli Award, as one of the industry's designers of the year. Beth joins Eric Javits, Patricia Underwood, and Louis Green, among other acclaimed hat designers in the Millinery Hall of Fame. She also has been asked to judge several hat competitions in further recognition of her talent and expertise.
Beth's creations represent the platinum standard for eco-conscious design. Her determination to contribute to a "greener society" has defined her approach to her work. Her beautiful, unique headwear is made with carefully selected, up-cycled materials, and are superior in their quality, design, and attention to detail.
